Register for Camps & Classes
We are a new art studio serving children in grades Pre-K through high school. The studio is led by artists Christine Orlando and Priscilla Perotti Igram. The philosophy at the studio is that everyone is an artist. It’s our job to help your children feel confident in their ability to create, and more importantly, to enjoy the process. Due to the age range we would like to note that to accomodate your child’s age and dexterity, our program will be altered to suit each child’s needs.

CURRENT OFFERINGS:
FALL OFFERINGS–All Classes $230 ($205 with a buddy). Drop-Ins are $20 and will begin again September 28th. Advanced Registration may be necessary to guarantee a spot in the class.
Monday: Ephemeral Art in Nature / Grades K-8 /4:15-5:45pm / September 27- November 8th. In this class we will create works of art entirely from what we find in nature. Our inspiration is the fall…outdoors: we will meet in six different locations within a five mile radius of our studio in Fairfield. The colors of the fall are awe inspiring, and what we call our palette expands tremendously during this six week span. Our product at the end of class is a slide show with photos of our creations. You will not be disappointed.
Tuesdays: DROP-IN Studio / Grades K-12 /4:15-5:45pm / September 28- November 9th. This is a class designed for students who want to check us out, but are not sure about a class. Here, we offer fun one-shot projects for our artists. The children will get basic instruction on their projects. For more advanced instruction and guidance, YAS classes are suggested.
Wednesday: Fun With Fabric / Grades K-8 / 4:15-5:45 / September 29 – November 3rd. Your children will be so excited by this class. Kids, you will learn how to create your own screen printed items from your own design. The first part of the class will focus on sketching and drawing out your design, then translating the design into their very own screen print. They will learn the entire process from start to finish (nope, this is not kitchen table art;). You can even create your very own t-shirt design, reproduce it, and make millions (okay, maybe not, but we got you thinking!)
Thursday: Paper Possibilities / Grades 3+up / 4:15-5:45pm / Septemer 30-November 4th. Over the course of six weeks, we will make recycled and beautiful paper from pulp, using natural elements to embellish the paper. From the pulp, we’ll be able to make what we choose including paper bowls, boxes, mini sculptures…Time permitting, once the paper is made, we will carve linoleum blocks (which can be used over and over again) to block print our own note cards and stationary.
