We are a new art studio serving children in grades Pre-K through 8th grade, and we offer portfolio preparation for high school students applying to art schools.

CURRENT OFFERINGS:
Tuesdays & Thursdays: Open Studio, 4-5:30pm, Grades K-8. Do a different project each day. $20/day. Preregistration recommended but not required. Click here to register for Drop-ins.
SUMMER CAMPS
The Young Artists Studio’s Summer Camps! Grades K-8, Monday-Friday, 9:30am-12:30pm ($230, or $205 with a buddy*); or in weeks 1&3, we offer an afternoon session 2-5pm ($230, or $205 with a buddy) & Full Day Option, 9:30-5pm ($400, or $375 with a friend).
July 5-9 | Andy Goldsworthy Ephemeral Art River Work–Begin your day splashing around the Rooster River of Fairfield while participating in a supervised clean up. We’ll be using nature as our palette to create striking temporary sculptures made entirely from what is found on site (natural and unnatural). For the afternoon session we’ll go back to our studio to regroup, then head back out for more fun! Morning, Afternoon or FULL DAY OPTION.
July 12-16 | Andy Goldsworthy Ephemeral Art I–Use nature as your palette to create striking temporary sculptures made entirely from what is found on site. You’ll be amazed at what you can create and experience the joy of this playful art. We have many outdoor locations, most within minutes of our studio.
July 19-23 | Young Artists Sampler I–(5 days of different art) Outdoor/Painting/Drawing/Sculpting. Explore and find what moves you! some artists love painting, some sculpting, some photography…This is a great exploratory camp to try out a few different mediums. We’ll be inspired by the many famous artists before us and see what may have moved them to create. Morning, Afternoon or FULL DAY OPTION.
July 26-30 | Andy Goldsworthy Ephemeral Art II–(more of the really fun stuff above). Please check out or slide shows on our website to see just how much fun we have!
August 2-6 | YAS Sampler II–(more of above) for kids who love to try new things!
August 9-13 | Art Olympics–experience endorphine inspired creativity! We’ll begin our day with exercise and then move to create our works. We’ll have a variety of art projects, and throw in some scavenger hunts and other games as it suits us.
